THE ASK
Cengage's marketing team posted for a photographer and/or videographer to shoot candid coverage and soundbites at a two-day professional development summit.
WHAT I SUGGESTED
They wanted to post during the event and keep using the content afterward. So instead of handing over files a week later, I built the plan around same-day delivery: one person shooting both photo and video, editing on site each evening, with usage rights spelled out so the team knew exactly what they could do with everything.
WHAT THEY GOT
• A 30-second welcome video, delivered by 8 PM on day one
• Edited photos each night, ready for social
• A highlight video, a 45-second sizzle reel and 10 social clips
WHAT HAPPENED
The team had content to post while the summit was still going, then turned the footage into a sizzle reel and social clips.
