How Much Does a Corporate Event Videographer Cost in Los Angeles? (2026 Prices)

Short answer: In Los Angeles, a corporate event videographer usually costs $750 to $1,500 for a half day and $1,500 to $3,500 for a full day, before editing. With editing included, most single-day corporate events land between $2,000 and $5,000. At H Billi Media, event coverage starts at $750 for 2 hours of video, a half day of video and photo is $2,200, and a full day is $4,500, with a 60-second teaser in your inbox within 72 hours.

I get asked this question more than any other, usually right after "are you available on the 14th?" So here is the honest breakdown: what event video costs in LA, what actually moves the price, and exactly what you get from me at each level. I'm Humberto Ona, III. I shoot and edit every H Billi Media project myself, I'm based in Harbor City in the South Bay, and I've been doing this for 17 years.

What does a corporate event videographer cost in Los Angeles?

Most LA pricing guides land in the same place. A solo videographer runs about $750 to $1,500 for a half day and $1,500 to $3,500 for a full day. Bigger crews with extra camera operators, a lighting tech and a sound person go well past that. What those day rates usually leave out is the edit, and the edit is where your event turns into something you can actually use.

Here is where my packages sit. These are for one operator with two cameras (one locked on the stage, one handheld), with travel anywhere in Los Angeles and Orange County included.

  • 2-hour minimum: $750 for video, $650 for photo. Good for a short keynote, a ribbon cutting or a mixer.

  • Half day, video and photo: $2,200 for up to 4 hours. You get a 60-second teaser within 72 hours, 2 vertical social clips and 100+ edited photos within a week.

  • Full day, video and photo: $4,500 for up to 8 hours. You get the teaser within 72 hours, a 2 to 3 minute highlight film, 5 speaker clips, 3 sponsor cuts and 250+ edited photos within a week.

  • Multi-day conferences: from $4,000 per day, 2-day minimum. Everything in the full day, for each day, plus a daily recap.

  • Video only: $1,360 for a half day and $2,710 for a full day, with the same 72-hour teaser.

  • Photo only: $1,180 for a half day (100+ edited photos) and $1,970 for a full day (250+ edited photos).

Every package comes with the same promise: if your teaser isn't in your inbox within 72 hours, your next edit is free. You can see every package and build your own on my Packages page.

What makes event video cost more or less?

Two events with the same hours can be priced very differently. These are the things that actually move the number.

  • Hours on site. Setup and breakdown count. If I'm running two cameras, I book at least 2 hours even for a 1-hour talk, because both cameras have to be set, manned and struck.

  • Number of camera angles. Two angles is my standard. Three or four angles means adding a camera operator, and that's a whole extra person.

  • Video and photo together, or a dedicated photographer. One operator can cover both, switching to stills at the key moments. If you never want the video to pause for photos, you need a second person.

  • How many edits you want. This is the biggest one. A highlight film, speaker clips, sponsor cuts, full keynote videos and vertical social clips are each their own edit. More edits, more value, higher price.

  • Turnaround. A same-day recap played at the closing session takes an editor working on site. It costs more and it's worth it.

  • Usage rights. My packages include posting on your website and social media. Ads and broadcast are spelled out in the proposal so you know exactly what you own.

  • Raw footage. Handing over every file is priced as its own item, since it lets you cut future edits without me.

What deliverables should you ask for?

Most event footage ends up sitting on a hard drive. The way around that is to decide before the event what you're going to do with it. These are the deliverables companies get the most use out of:

  • 72-hour teaser: a 30 to 60 second preview to post while people are still talking about the event.

  • Event recap highlight video: a 2 to 3 minute film of the whole event for your site and next year's promo.

  • Full keynote video: the entire talk, edited from 2 or more angles with clean board audio and the slides cut in.

  • Full conference recordings: every session, ready for an on-demand library, LMS or paid replay.

  • Speaker clips: the best 30 to 60 seconds of each talk, one idea per clip.

  • Sponsor cuts: 15 to 30 second videos of each sponsor's booth and stage mentions, which make renewals much easier.

  • Vertical social highlights: 9:16 clips for Reels, TikTok, Shorts and LinkedIn, captioned and ready to post.

  • Attendee testimonials: short on-camera interviews about why guests came and what they got.

  • Same-day recap: edited on site and delivered the same night.

Is it cheaper to hire a freelancer or a production company?

Usually a freelancer, and the trade-off is who you're dealing with. A production company often sends a crew you've never met and passes the footage to an editor who wasn't in the room. With me, the person who plans the shoot is the person who films it and edits it, so nothing gets lost between the event and the final file. For bigger conferences I bring in crew I trust, and you still have one point of contact.

Where in Los Angeles do you film corporate events?

I'm based in Harbor City in the South Bay and film corporate events across Torrance, El Segundo, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Long Beach and all of LA and Orange County. I've covered ATD26 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, AWE USA and the WQA trade show at the Long Beach Convention Center, BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach for Citizens Private Bank, and the Redondo Beach Mayor's State of the City address. Teams at Salesforce, Rippling, Teachable, Bluehost, SiriusXM and Citizens Private Bank have trusted me with their events.

How do I book a corporate event videographer?

Email info@hbillimedia.com with three things: the date, the location, and what you need delivered. I'll reply with a plan and a quote, with no commitment to book. 50% holds the date, and the rest is due after your event, before editing begins. Most clients pay by card or bank transfer. I'm fully insured and can send a certificate of insurance (COI) for your venue.

If you're still planning, grab my free guide, The 7 Shots Every Company Should Get From Its Next Event. It's the shot list I use at every event.
